Chimneys in Southbury & Oxford
Across the Housatonic from Newtown, Southbury and Oxford have country colonials, farmhouses and newer subdivisions, plus condominium communities with factory-built fireplaces.
Factory-built (prefabricated) fireplaces have metal chimneys that need the correct parts and a careful inspection, not masonry repairs. Older farmhouses need the opposite: someone who knows how to work with old brick and stone.

- Factory-built fireplaces and metal chimneys in condos
- Farmhouse chimneys that need mortar matched to old masonry
