Chimney experts for Newtown and the surrounding towns
Chimney Experts looks after chimneys, fireplaces, wood stoves, inserts and liners from our location at 87 S Main St in Newtown. We serve Newtown, Sandy Hook, Botsford and Hawleyville, plus Monroe, Brookfield, Bethel, Redding, Easton, Trumbull, Southbury and Oxford.
A lot of the homes we see are either very old, like the colonials and farmhouses along Main Street, or heated with wood all winter. Often they’re both. Those chimneys need more than a quick sweep: they need someone to check the liner, the smoke chamber, the crown and the flashing, and to explain what’s found.
Every visit starts with a camera inspection, and every recommendation comes with photos and a clear priority. We work to NFPA 211 and we’re fully insured.
What “done properly” means here
NFPA 211
The national standard for chimneys, fireplaces, vents and solid-fuel appliances. It governs inspection levels, clearances and liner requirements — and it is what our reports are written against.
Fully insured
Every job is covered, and we will send the insurance certificate ahead of the appointment if you want it on file.
Documented findings
Camera footage and photos on every visit, with a written report. It is the difference between a recommendation and an opinion.
